Arts Alliance seeks to educate and inform elected officials, the public, and the media about the importance of the arts in South Hampton Roads. In 2022-23, we partnered with Americans for the Arts to conduct their Arts and Economic Prosperity 6 (AEP6) study for the entire South Hampton Roads region. This is the first authoritative report to show South Hampton Roads’ prosperity related to the arts and its economic impact with comparable figures to other communities participating in the study. In the fall of 2024, William N. Ferris completed the following comparative communities report using the AEP6 reports from other like communities.
